Dear Lois,
Thank you again and congratulations on the marvelous recording of Sonatine de Giverny. It was a memorable treat to work with you and Charlie at the recording sessions and to have my ideas magnified by your inspired sense of phrasing, expression, and overall poetry. This is going to be a fantastic CD from start to finish, and I hear from a lot of musicians who are eager to know when it's coming out. Looking forward to the release, Daniel Dorff www.danieldorff.com |

Dear Lois, I received your recording master of the "Saltarello"--wonderful! I am delighted by the rich sweetness, dare I say, flutey-ness of your tone. You never sound shrill. . . The ensemble is very good. You performed some of the slower segments in ways that I had not imagined, but I think they are equally valid interpretations. At any rate, both of you are very MUSICAL performers. . . Congratulations, and thanks to you and Sophie for your artistry. Stephen Mager |

Hi Lois, Wow! Your recording of Night Flight is spectacular. The three of you have captured my intentions exactly. The beautiful tone of each instrument, the sensitive nuances, and sophisticated blending makes this a fabulous rendition of the work. The opening was magical, as was the section around M. 80. Mm. 42-50 are really exciting. I am also impressed by the wonderfully expressive piano solo mm. 101-115. . . the ensemble was exceedingly well synchronized. . . You can be very proud of this recording! Congratulations! Howard (Buss) |

Dear Lois, I just wanted to express in writing my enjoyment of our collaboration. Getting an opportunity to compose a lyrical piccolo and guitar piece was not on my official composer's wish list, but sometimes the unexpected projects are some of the most enjoyable and edifying. With your playing I have learned how expressive and beautiful the piccolo can be, and it will always now affect my sense of the intrument's true range and capabilities. Working on Song of Spring with you as composer and performer was very satisfying and I greatly appreciate your helping me find a way to get all my intentions realized. I am excited about the level of the pieces and performances on the recording and am honored to be a part of it. Allen Krantz Temple University |
