Herbine's diverse programming offers flexible accompaniment - your choice of guitar, piano, harp or strings. Lois' programming combines her Bliss and friends flute recitals from Concerts at Carmel (a state supported chamber music series) with select repertoire from her solo piccolo CD, Take Wing. Included in her "high flying and beguiling recital" (The Gramophone) are "outstanding" collaborators"- pianist Charles Abramovic, guitarist Allen Krantz, and harpist Sophie Bruno. Along with traditional flute repertoire, programs include a choice of piccolo solos by talented living composers, a culturally diverse selection for flute and a solo selection by the collaborative artist.
Her general audience lecture The Elements of Musicality with an accompanying masterclass for all levels and instrumentation is based on the performance and teaching traditions of the great woodwind masters of the Phialdelphia Orchestra from the Golden Era.
